Meet Our Founder
Dr. Rolanda Fabien
is a dedicated wife, mother, and educator. She is a military veteran with over 20 years of expertise in Educational Leadership and Special Education teaching, training, and compliance. She sets the vision for Bright IDEA Consulting, and her mission is to ensure ALL learners are supported and equitably prepared for their futures by nurturing and collaborative teams. She is also the running Uno champion of her family & loves spending time just laughing!

Our History
The Bright IDEA Consulting saw the need for a team of knowledgeable community partners who could serve as a liaison to help facilitate a collaborative partnership between families, schools, community partners. We formed our organization to educate, equip, and support parents so they are able to better advocate for the needs of their children. By doing so, families, educators, and businesses become the game-changing factors in creating a culture of belonging in a world of diversity. We’ve consistently grown since our humble beginnings, and we look forward to the honor and pleasure of helping you do the same.

Our amazing team has over 20 years of experience providing educational services, advocacy, support, and consultation. We specialize in Section 504/Americans with Disabilities (ADA), the Individuals with Disabilities Act (IDEA), and the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) implementation and compliance. We are committed to helping parents and students with diverse needs gain equitable access the resources, services, and supports required to address their specific needs in order to have an inclusive educational experience.
